Confirmation and Hot Church both start at 9:35am in the sanctuary. After the opening music we break into age groups for education.

The 6th-8th Grade student go to their confirmation class. There they learn great lessons from the Old Testament, the Life of Jesus, and the latter New Testament stories! We use the curriculum from Faith Ink (www.faithink.com) which is full of fun approaches to learning, including music, video and games. This curriculum is designed to integrate what they learn in class (the “head” knowledge) into their “heart” – H2H – and includes what Faith Ink. calls their “Faith 5” (Share, Read, Talk, Pray and Bless) approach to bring faith into the home. The 9th-12th Grade students go to Hot Church. Their curriculum is more diverse and includes scripture and discussions based on various topics from different resources. During Hot Church we spend time building relationships – with each other and with Jesus Christ. Our classroom focus is informal and we “work hard” to learn more about our faith and what that means for us in the world we live in today.
